rik
So pi**ed of right now. Bought a small angle grinder from Macro a couple of weeks ago for use on my supra, and it's bloody s**t itself after about 20mins use. It's a Black and Decker so i'd have thought it would be ok. It's all making sense now though, this is the 3rd electrical appliance/tool i've had from them and the 3rd to go wrong. The first was a PS2 which went wrong in no time, they replaced it and put it down to bad luck. The second was a JVC head unit and 12 disc changer that i installed my self. After a couple of weeks it started cutting out at a rediculously low volume, and has no bass quality at all. I doubted myself on this on thinking i'd wired it up wrong so didn't return it. (mistake) And now this! All the gears have gone inside, you can feel it when you turn the disc. I was only lightly cleaning off a bit if pain from a body panel, so not giving it large at all! This of course means that instead of spending the day getting my car ready for paint, i'll be fighting my way through city traffic so i can have an arguement at Macro. I'm never going to get this bloody car on the road

JohnA
I used to go for olive oil, then they doubled the price overnight! WTF A DVD recorder I got from them was kaput within a couple of months, as well as a couple of other things. I'm careful now about anything from Makro. Paul
Makro are shite, stopped bothering years back. They sell nothing but third rate crap. Just take a look at the type of people it attracts, then again so does Costco but they are slightly better imho. Paul
Rob
Tools from Netto don't seem too bad. I've just bought a planer for £12.99 to re-do my railway sleeper garden bench, as I know it'll be a disposable item and I'd rather trash that then my proper planer. Paul
Netto? don't have them round these parts. Some sort of Pikey shop is it?
