Guest magic dr.shoon
This is great, just what I needed to know! I'm a wanna be supra owner, I really love the tt aerotop, but love the manual gear box too. I must admit I didn't realize how much was involved in doing an auto to manual conversion. I think someone mentioned this before, but would it be feasible to buy a manual supra and swap everything over? As far as mods go, that would be all I'd want to do, so I don't think I'd need all the uprated stuff. If this is posiible, how much do you reckon a garage would charge to do it? Cheers! TLicense
For a garage to do it, about £5K. If you do it, about £3.5K. There's not a whole lot more to fitting it than if you were doing a clutch change. Just cutting and welding a panel and fitting the clutch pedal/cylinder/hoses.
