So i have a jap spec tt and i have been driving around without a speed convertor for a while as the one i did have went tits up, so obviously the speedo is reading far to high now, using my GPS for my speed, but i have just bought a UK spec gauge cluster as needed a new fuel gauge so i thought rather that change the fuel gauge over i will just change the whole lot over and fit my EL dials over this one as the needes have been off on my old one and were not 100% right, so anyway driving along and the speedo reads right!!! no convertor needed on a Jap car?? So thought id take a look at the components between the jap spec speedo and the uk spec speedo and there is a slight change, so i am going to get the components and change them over on the Jap spec one and see if that works.

What this will mean is that there is no need to buy expensive convertors, all you have to do is change a few components..
