Supragal
Oops. Our ticket tracking system shows us name the wrong way round and includes middle names, for example: Smith John Jones Fred James Tim so when you glance at them, especially the ones with loads of middle names and double baralled names or non UK (ie not familiar ones) you have to have a think about what name to call them... Anyway, was in a hurry this morning so emailed a customer to say I'd done their ticket only I called them by their surname... realised just as I hit send... turns out it's a senior director.. oops. So he's replied "Hi Werb" thanks. Which I presume is my surname with a typo for added subtleness... So, do I reply and apologise or so I not reply and presume he gets it all the time? (yes I am bored)

Charlotte
I think he realises you have made a mistake and is making a joke of it Yeah that. Unless he went to private school or was in the army etc. In which case he probably likes you even better.

Rob
Is his surname a forename though? Like Alan Stuart or Michael David, if so then just apologise for mixing the names round. I have a theory that there are an equally matched number of forenames to surnames in the world, most people have one each but for every Keith Anthony there is a Mackensie Davidson, IYSWIM. I see. I have noticed that there seems to be a lot of merkins with surnames for firstnames. Like "Hamilton P Spunkmeyer III Junior"
