Guest JS_TT
Porsche looks nice. Should be quite an animal. I have not really done much with the cd player other than load in 6 discs and play-lol. Might look into settting it up properly at some point when I find a spare moment. Carl If you do need a hand with it, just give me a shout. Guest Carsten
Got the same problem today :/ I floor it and it doesnt change into 4th. So is it just if kickdown is still pressed?
AndyT
Ian C explanation Have a read. The box is virtually faultless.

Guest Carsten
Uhm just to clearify this. It runs to about 6700-6800 and then the motor breaks, rev drops to about 6300-6400 after that the car accelerates again to 6700-6800 -> rev drops again and so on. Is that rev limiter or mayb speed limiter? On rev limiter it should break power to a neutral level and hit rev limiter all the time. Dont know how speed limiter works. But i dont expect it to break speed and then accelerate again. add: http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?t=10193&highlight=3rd+4th Looks similar to this one. Sadly my speedo doesnt work correctly so i dont know how fast i was going. add: http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?t=183378&highlight=speed+limiter sound also like this.
