pistonbroke
My wife to be pesters me to let her drive the Supra, she wants me to put her on the insurance and let her go out in it. Thing is, she has virtually zero respect for her A class mercedes and regularly kerbs the wheels. When I say about her wheels, she replies, "its my car, i can do what I want with it". I'd be so worried she smash the car up or just not respect its power and end up in A+E. What do you lot think?

MrRalphMan
My Mrs drove my MKiii and she managed 130 (leptons) while driving me home from a party. It's just a shame that she's only got an auto Licence.. he he he.
GeordieSteve
I have done in the past but she's a bit scared of the new single. Especially now the car does 315mph and 0-200 in 3 seconds (shhhh that's what I told her)
Ark
Well, it's entirely up to you. You can counter her "It's my car..." with the same arguement if she asks why you won't let her. Sounds a little bit offhand to me, and if my missus behaved like that, I'd not let her drive my car either. However, my wifes pretty good (plus she knows how much trouble she'd be in if she damaged my car) so I let her go every now and then.

Sharpie
I was married for 1 week before my wife totalled my 1st car and P&J - I had saved up for years to buy it, modded it, OK it was a B*W but, still my P&J at age 18 Since that day - she has never been on my car insurance - and never will be on the soop! AND THAT'S FINAL - OK! it was 13 years ago now and I'm just over it

Ewen
Luckily I dont have to worry about this...Janes small but perfectly miniturised 4' 10" frame precludes anything more than her sitting there going brum brum.
spackrackman
I am starting to push my girlfriend to drive mine. she now only drives 8 miles a day.. What can go wrong in eight miles! I can then take the deisel and save myself a fortune. Surly nothing can go wrong in 8 miles... ermmmm
charlton
My other half refuses to drive it as she knows its my baby!! - isn't she good!!! (I think she realises its too big and powerful for her)
Faye
I have no problem with Keith driving mine, and likewise I'm on his insurance. I would personally not let anyone drive it who drove their own car poorly/carelessly - christ knows what they'd do with a car they aren't familiar with! BASHTHEBISHOP
No way! She mentioned it when i bought it but fortunately the size and power puts her off. Even if it hadn't still no chance. If your Mrs kerbs her own car she will definitely kerb yours.
Charlotte
It took Mike a while but then that was at the stage where he was camped out by the window checking on it every 5 mins. It's all good now though.
