I have been guilty! :))

 

Customers who do not turn up when they are supposed to

 

Bits wrong on their car 'oh while you are there could you just do this for me'

 

Bits wrong on their cars from crap other work done... 'on the cheap'...bits missing etc

 

I dont want to pay f-all but if you insist £20.00 an hour and if you are lucky I'll put your name on the windscreen

 

You expect to turn the car into a monster and then query invoices that reflect this

 

However things that drive me mad...

 

If you have to take phone calls - get a secretary or leave them till later - this is my time - I have taken time off work to be here...please respect this

 

I am a friendly customer - but dont take the proverbial...

 

Book cars in and get them done according to the work schedule (if customers dont turn up - charge them a bloody cancellation fee!!!)

 

If parts are not there - CALL ME! Dont wait until I turn up - FFS PLAN the next day...!

 

Have somewhere that I can sit and read (even Kwikfit have this) if there is a wait - and you waiting area should reflect the values you place on the customer - clean and fresh

martin, i let off a bit of steam as i pmd you, and also apoligized for my rant afterwards, i do understand and believe you have done everything to get it done for the open day,:D and do not and would not take a full refund from you, you have kept me informed, good and bad things which i think very highly of you for doing so, but it still feels like christmas day has been put on hold for me:( i am a fair and decent man as i believe you are too, and now we have kissed and made up where are my haribo,s:p

 

 

So glad to read this post. When I think back over the years to some of the horror stories with paintshops, Supra woman for one. Martin is doing everything he can to meet the tight dead line he set himself. You'll get your car and I am sure it will look fantastic, what difference does a couple of days make.

I'm sure this doesn't apply to Martin, but I was told every "reason" under teh sun for why it would be "2 more days" "2 more weeks" for 3 years and by 2 seperate garages so I can sympathise with anyone who would get on the heavy about a car not being finished when agreed.
