milocoon
If I`ve followed the thread 100% then you have helped matters a lot, I could ask everybody to sit down, reflect on every single phone call made to those wonderful call centres like SKY, all the ENERGY providers, quite a few INSURERS. 1) Please wait all our advisers are busy helping customers and I know we`re pissing you off by making you wait but thats the way it is ! If you don`t like it F*** O** and try later. 2) Sir you need to ring this number instead, but I was told to ring you and after 45 minutes you`re telling me i was given duff information. 3) We`ll call you back today (The Best Lie Ever) There are more like this which charge up to £3 a minute for psado-masochism. Martin has done his best and been probally too honest for his own good, I don`t reckon he`ll ever do a Group Buy on Exhausts after being given the runaround by Greddy Etc ! Matt Harwood
I am pretty hard on tuners and engineers with my car when I give them deadlines and I still always end up getting rogered.. From now on its a fixed price for work and if a tuner oversteps the deadline Im going to start to remove a fee per day. Ive done this with one engineer and it worked beautifully! Remind me never to do any work for you Sorry, but if I've been in the motor trade long enough to know that deadlines are virtually impossible to stick to. So many factors can prevent this from happening. Snapped bolts, seized parts, incorrect fitting parts, wrong parts, fabrication, fault finding, added extra 'just jobs', previous bodges, paint reactions, unavavilable parts, slow deliverys, customer telephone calls, customer visits, family emergencies, none of these can ever be factored in to an estimated completeion time. Many times I've heard people say, "It's got to go out today, so that will do"....
