caseys
Hi everyone, I've just bought the UK spec front brakes off Nic and looking through a fitting guide it says I need longer bolts, anyone know where I should get these from? Also are the brake hoses different sizes to the j-spec calipers? Or is it just a good idea to fit braided hoses as most of the guides/posts say? Cheers, Si
LeeT
i dont remember using longer bolts. The hoses on your j spec will fit but personally i'd fit braided hoses whilst i was there.

Pete
Worth doing a fluid flush if not done for a while? Can be hassle and messy though.
caseys
Worth doing a fluid flush if not done for a while? Can be hassle and messy though. Did a fluid change about 12 months ago, going to try and find some decent 5.1 from somewhere Cheers for the speedy replies about the bolts matey. Think I'm also going to get some braided hoses as £40-50 you can't really go wrong.

Personally I wouldn't bother with the anti-squeel shims. Bite is so much better without them and I've never noticed any difference in squeel. You want the anti-rattle clips though. Need4Speed
Pad Squeal is usually a problem with race pads. You do need the anti rattle sprins though. The Caliper bolts are all the same.
