Lubas
hi all! i changed the thermostat the other day in my 94 N/A because the old one got stuck shut and started leaking around the housing where the bottom hose goes onto the block. i put the new one in and low and behold..... its doing exactly the same thing!!!! (not sticking shut but leaking)lol is there a gasket that should come with the thermostat or something.the one i got only has a rubber seal. i also cant get the airlock out. i tried running it whilst toping up the water with my heater on full but it just seems to spit the water back at me and the heater never gets warm i'm confused!!!! please help!! its driving me insane

Swampy442
Im not sure of the system, but maybe the housing is cracked and thats the leak? Also try filling the block with water through the top hose, then stick the hose on the rad, and as your running, squeeze the hoses to push any air out. Hope that helps
