supraman.chris
New grooved and drilled discs all round with EBC Red Stuuf pads pointing in a rotary direction of \\\\\\ as supposed to ////// and i have a constant ticking noise, think its the pads on the grooves, so i'm gonna try turning them round to see if that helps. Anyone else had this?
Jake
No idea about the brakes but the link in your sig to your garage doesn't work, it just goes to the Garage Home and how come you have three garages? I presume you don't have three 1993 6sp Supras, right? http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/vbpicgallery.php?do=hall&u=4443

Bob
The facing of the discs should bedependent on the angle of the venting inside them, in that its hould beexpelling air rather than tring to scoop it in.

Are you sure? Mine (stock UK) were like that, i.e. the internal slots were going \\\ on the way round, so not taking any air in. This seemed wrong, as definately was wrong when I looked since the discs were marked 'RH' and 'LH' and were on the wrong side. I had warping problems when braking at speed. I switched them around so that they scoop air in ( /// on the way round) and so they matched up with the RH/LH markings, and all is well. Bob
/// on the way round is right, but it's expelling air rather than taking it in. It's the \\\ that is scooping air in if the disc is travelling anti-clockwise.
