Tattooman
out of interest, who did the engine work on the Skyline matey? IMHO The best in the country RB MOTORSPORT (ROD BELL)
Homer
Haha, I remember that 300 from a while ago... didn't get a warm welcome at Barry boys IIRC (or here, or most other Jap forums!) Best I not comment really The Skyline looks like a nice motor though.

Ian C
I always wondered what a migraine looked like, now I know, it's the same as the side of the 300ZX And indeed, those tailpipes! Skyline is nice though -Ian
mkirby
Tattooman your a naughty boy lol Going supra are you now Have you had any interest in the R33 yet? Cant say i blame you getting a supra, i think for stage 1 mods per £££ there about the best Jap car out there and certainly put together better than the 300 and R33 Mike (kirbz)
Jspec Germany
THOSE TAILPIPES! Indeed. Do those jet engine tailcans have afterburner? I'm not a big fan of the R33s. Prefer the R32/R34, but that is a nice clean example you have there. Welcome to the club btw.
Tattooman
Hey guys thanx for all of you comments and advice but I have more questions.... I HAVE NOW BOUGHT A SUPRA SPEC AS FOLLOWS HYBRID TURBOS (Installed and supplied by CPD in Braintree Essex ???) HKS SUPER DRAGER ZORST, Front Pipes De-Catted x2 BLITZ SBCID BOOST CONTROLLER UPRATED FUEL PUMP (Unknown make, Probably Walbro ???) Cone Induction kit So firstly in all of your opinions what kinda boost can I run upto on these Turbos ??? At the moment it is set up at 1.43 This sounds too high to me ??? (I also haven't yet worked out how to set the boost on the boost controller either(What a dumb ass ha ha ha) THE NEXT STEP... WHAT WOULD YOU GUYS RECCOMEND TO GET ME UPTO 450-500BHP @the FLY I was possibly gonna go for a FMIC at some point in the future Also would you guys reccomend a GREDDY E MANAGE ULTIMATE ??? If so who would you reccomend to install it and set my car up. Im new to the Supra world and have come from the 300zx and Skyline background so I know nothing about reputable tuners etc on here. I have been to THOR to have my ZX Dynoed, Nice guys but is PETE very specialised in Supra's ??? I don't wanna spend big £££ either as my MRS will kill me I have bought the Supra as a reliable everyday driver and promised her I wouldn't spend spend on it OOPS..ha ha ha
Thorin
Congrats on the purchase! 1.4bar is fine if they really are hybrid turbo's (1.2 max on stockers). I guess uprated intercooler (FMIC really isn't necessary, Chris Wilson does an uprated side mount which should be more than adequate, what state is your current one in?) and some cams would be the next step. E-Manage ultimate comes highly recommended, speak to Ian C on here nicely and you may be able to negotiate him mapping it for you. IMO there's not many people out there who know more about the e-manage. As for THOR, have had a number of dissatisfied customers of late (and that's probably putting it mildly). I'd do a bit of a search and make up your own mind though.

The whole car is as new and I am presuming that the FMIC is as new too, I will jack it up over the weekend and have a good crawl around over the weekend. I just wanna release a little bit more power out of her without being too obsessive about it, I weren't planning on messing around with internals again etc (Like I always do ha haha ) didn't even really want to go down the bigger injectors route either. So with what I have already and adding just a Greddy E manage how much additional power am I likely to achieve ??? Will I really notice a considerable change in performance ? without upgrading the Cams am I likely to be putting them under any great pressure or strain and risk blowing my motor ??? Tattooman
Keep the ideas suggestions coming fellas this is a good learning curve for me with rehards to the Supra. I'm used to all of this from my last 5 Jap cars but don't really know what capabilities and reliability I'm gonna get out of the Supra.... tDR
After seeing many Supra's dyno with many variations of stock turbo's / alleged stage 3 hybrids I'd say on your average rolling road that you will see 400bhp max at the fly at BPU level. Hybrids just ain't worth it IMO.... especially on stock ECU - there's fcuk all difference in power in the real world vs stockers and there's more lag. If they are steel internalled hybrids you would likely see a better lifespan than J-spec ceramics at 1.25bar (safe max boost) but that's it. If you want power buy a single. HTH, Brian.
