BASHTHEBISHOP
Go and buy yourself Norton antivirus or Macafee antivirus. Cost you about £30 inc 1 years free updates - £10 per year there after. If your feeling flush buy the full internet security suite for an extra tenner. At least with this you stand more chance of keeping them(viruses) off your PC rather than just having the cure. PC world or online at amazon probably your best bet. Hope you get it sorted before it kills your PC.

Hit shift about 6 or 7 times really quickly on the keyboard. you should hear a chirp noise and it will let you know if its on or not edit: and dont go near Norton, its terrible! Shovels
No-one has mentioned yet, but a good way to get rid of a virus is to do a system restore - It won't delete infected files, but it will roll back any registry entires, running an anti-virus scan afterwards should then remove any infected files. Once you've successfully got rid of the virus then delete all previous system restire points by turning it off and back on again. Works for spyware as well.
