toyotatom
Have a look in the technical section under thread called offsets started by me. Might be some useful replies to my question there. At least its something to do while you wait for people to reply to this one.
LeeT
its not really just offset related, its also down to wheel and spoke design too. YOU can have a 46mm offset which would fit fit but a different make/style of wheel in the same offset will not. Its alot of trial and error im afraid
merckx
This may be helpful, it's supposed to be a cross section of the front hub with UK brakes. It might be best to verify this first by taking a few measurements.
wkdtime
Lee's partly right, but if theyre +30 for the fronts then im 99% sure it'll be fine mate. The more negative the offset the more the wheel will sit away from the caliper rotation.
toyotatom
Does this meen they will sit outside of the normal arches?
LeeT
Does this meen they will sit outside of the normal arches? good point, that offset will stick out 20mm more than stock wheels
Nic
Hi Si In simple terms the smaller the offset number the further out the wheels will fit. So as an example, if you had exactly the same model of wheels then the +30 offset will give you more brake clearance compared to the +35. What are the widths and model of the wheels? As the width and design of the wheels will also determine whether they will clear the larger brakes. This is a useful link for comparing offsets. http://www.1010tires.com/WheelOffsetCalculator.asp Also read THIS and THIS and then decide if you want to use spacers or not on a 180mph Supra car
