Quicktime to Windows media file. Possible?

My digi-camera takes video in Quicktime format. With QT being an Apple product is it possible to convert it to a Windows media player type file?

If so, what software do I use? Ideally would like something I can use permanently, not a trial version.

How are you enjoying your time off work?

It's great. I've done feck all bar fondle my new exhaust. Managed to find something new to worry about on the car and eat salad sandwiches.

Was supposed to getting the car done tomorrow but that's been put back until Friday so now have a day to kill.

Might go in to work.

Salad sandwiches, yum.

Ok you need a mission for tomorrow. I think you should find the beach, slap some suncream on and maybe go for a paddle. Do something you wouldn't normally do. And I think maybe some kind of two week blog of your experiences.

No Lido either. I have issues with chlorine in swimming pools too. Until a few years ago I'd never lived more than a mile from the beach. I still feel it's pull too. Weird, mystical shit for sure.
