Rooney is just a thug who can kick a ball round a field, he should never be seen as somebody to look up to, but sadly people do. And what do the kids see? They see that stamping on somebodys bollocks is okay and that its always somebody elses fault. Rooney should try taking some responsibility for his actions. If the team could manage a draw without him imagine what they might have actually been able to do if he had played like a professional and managed to stay on the pitch...Rooney lost England the world cup. When beckham got sent off for lightly tapping another player he was treated like scum, they burnt effigies of him in the street. Stamped, or trod on by accident? No one knows 100% except for Rooney himself, but it didn't look intentional to me.
