Gazboy
A few points...... A few are saying get over it etc etc but with the attack not being made against England then views are going to be different, I am almost positive that if a Scottish tabloid made a personal attack on England, Wales, Ireland then there owuld be an equal if not more uproar. Have you ever read the Daily Record? Oh and we do have a scottish flag flying outside our building.

Pete
If we ban the sun then we'll be plunged into eternal darkness. How would the flowers grow? What about gravity and the planet alignments? It'd be too cold to go outside (good for cold air density for better performance though). I'd miss the sun if it was banned. I get cranky in the winter with little sun. Rob
You don't need to ban the sun Pete, just turn your back on it. I did that yesterday, but now my neck is burnt.

Kittyclaws
What do you expect if you read the Sun? Informative news, balanced discussion, reasoned and enlightening argument? The fact that I can do the Sun soduku in my head without even writing in the numbers speaks volumes for the intelligence of the readers that it is trying to attract The phrase Nail and head comes to mind. Even if i found a copy of the sun, i would not read it. same goes for the Star, mirror, etc. the sun i hate the most because it took us years to get certain members of the IRA to court, then the sun goes and f#*ks it up by printing stuff they were not alowed to by order of the court, what happens,, they walk free

BASHTHEBISHOP
Going off the topic very slightly:- http://news.scotsman.com/index.cfm?id=1725512005 Makes interesting reading especially with regards to a couple of politicians comments. A Sun Journalist spouting his mouth off without thought is nothing really as nobody with a brain takes any notice or buys the paper in the 1st place BUT people involved in running a country is doing it is not good. And getting back on the subject.... http://commentisfree.guardian.co.uk/pat_kane/2006/06/why_world_cup_anglophobia_brin.html I think he explains well why some racist sentiments arise.
