hadyn
Huh? I've never heard that before. You haven't been eating cheese before bed time again have you? Asketh the opinioneth of thee Chris Wilson. I'll do this on my next Supra I think as long as the turbos last longer than 2 minutes
letmeshowyou
presumably his concern is the massive boost spike as the turbo's come on. Ian C had a thread ages ago with dyno plots of TTC against sequential. It's really not worth it Haydn...

If you boot Jon's car when off boost as it comes onto boost the boost gauge shoots up to about 1.5bar for a moment then settles back to 1bar (it's in parallel mode remember, with a 1.0bar restrictor). If it's already in boost when you floor it it doesn't do it, just boosts to 1bar. Is this a known problem with TTC mode?
Homer
Is this a known problem with TTC mode? From everything I've seen posted about TTC mode, then yes, this is normal. I think Nic made some detailed posts about it a few years back. He got it sorted after fitting an emanage and fudging things here and there... mikeyb10supra
it is exellent the car flys now!! but in my case we have just bypassed the problem whatever it is rather than fixing it which is not ideal. its a vsv valve then, maybe restricted in some way? if your not using it and now its working then I would say thats your problem
