dilocruzy
Seen you at about 3ish... Don't know about you but I had a fantastic day out there, loved burning the soop on those narrow lanes of the Island, specially on the southside. Would be an amazing event if we could get togueather for a cruize arround the island... Dan
Kookoocachu
Never seen a black one on the island, only silver. IDO
I love driving on the island... (also the burn down to Portsmouth always puts a smile on my mush!) May be on the island in a couple of weeks, may see you around..
Elliot
I was going to pop over there today as I and a mate both have the day off, be wasn't sure if I'd get up/off the ramp so gave up in the end!
Suprachargedtt
My mate woks in a tunning place there with a rolling road, if there are enough members interested could do a rolling road day on the island? Could even get discounted ferry crossings if enough interest... Elliot - I had problems with the sup getting on to the southampton ferry before (the exhaust scrapped the floor/ramp) but i did get on, i believe Portsmouth is better but i used lymington with no worries what so ever. Mike
how much is it to take the car over? I've lived in Pompey for nearly 5 years and the closest I've been is Cowes harbour on a boat trip with work... we didn't actually dock.. just pulled in for some reason... One of the lads I work with was raving about your sandy beaches... we only have pebbles over here... I'd be up for a cruise out over there... would be a good day out.. Suprachargedtt
To take the car over is approx £50 day return, there have been events with other clubs organised on the island with group bookings which work out to be about £35 each which is a bargain! Great opertunity for Photoshoot aswell (looks at my avatar...)

IDO
I would be up for it.. keep me informed.. Ps only had trouble with 1 of the ferries from portsmouth... it was a newer one with a permement ramp to the upper car level called the "St claire" (not the style where the whole level lifts up).. it ripped my exhaust off.. next time i found out i had to use the same boat i asked at the port gate and the very helpful guy from "whitelink" put me on the lower level with the coaches so not as many ramps.. Elliot
I'm up for that - definitely. James, was this when you had your VS front as well? Didn't you have problems with that or your FMIC?
Suprachargedtt
Elliot - the vs front was a pain for multistory car parks etc but had no probs on the ferry etc it was only the exhaust in the middle of the car as you get to the top of the ramp it used to catch on the way over... Kookoocachu
yay! yes all of you come over!!! The pompy ferry is best, when you pull into the car waiting area the blokey will greet you, explain to them that you have trouble with the ramps and theyll help you southamptons ok at normal tide. im afraid you missed the motor show, it was last weekend but im sure i could have a word with the council to see if we could park up in the square and look pretty
Elliot
In todays "Portsmouth News" there's a voucher for 1 car with driver & 3 passengers for £35 from 10th July - 3rd September (for day return) Slightly extra for staying over each night after (£5 or something) Not valid friday & saturday from 21st July - 26th August. There are also overnight offers. I'm not sure if they do this in The News every night, but when I was looking online yesterday it was around £67 normally so quite a bargain. I might pop over with a mate Thursday of next week.

Elliot
Yeah, bogeys is great if you want a load of guys jumping all over you, trying to groom you, and not to mention the big fat lesbians That's exactly why I used to go there! (I'm kidding btw) I developed a nasty habit of falling asleep there for some reason sitting on those circular seats, haven't been there in about 4 years now. Bit far for me but would make a good day.
