garetheves
Had an idea for my rear lights the other day and thought id give it a go seeing as it was such nice weather. Orriginally i was going to swap the red lenses from a spare set i have for the indicators and reverse lights but this proved a pain in the arse due to them being different sizes so i decided just to tint them. While they were open i painted them "facelift" style. Have put one on the car to show a comparison, what does everyone think. All i need to do now is get hold of some orange bulbs for the indicators and will just not have to reverse in front of the police (red reverse lights), unless i can get a very bright white bulb but even this will prob still shine red. Oh well. If its gonna cause problems i think i might just keep these for shows and just "facelift" my current set for every day driving. http://img57.imageshack.us/img57/6172/17vy1.jpg http://img385.imageshack.us/img385/4387/22rf.jpg http://img385.imageshack.us/img385/3336/38ki.jpg http://img123.imageshack.us/img123/1828/40rr.jpg So what does everyone think then?? Yay or Nay.
Max Headroom
Sorry I looked at them and they didn't do anything for me, normally its a "WOW they look great" or "OH NO its absolutely ruined it". So I would have to say nay. But say yay to the colour of the car

stupra
I think they look alright, but they could be a tug, any following copper can see there's no reverse lights.

Ric
I think they look alright, but they could be a tug, any following copper can see there's no reverse lights. Reverse lights arnt needed to pass an MOT as its not a legal requirement Just a bit of info there

Just the indicators?? Thats a cool thing to know
Elliot
I think they look great on a red car, but like you said, would be worried about getting pulled AND worried that the indicator isn't bright orange enough for people to see you pulling over.
