stupra
There are now thousands (yes thousands!..) of women and kids who will be dreading the end of this day, when after all the crying and drinking is over will cop for some of the worst beatings than you or I have ever had to experience (Domestic violence will increase by AT LEAST 40% today).. Spare a thought for them, not for some overpaid professional sportsman... Well said mate. Booze + heat + loosing = some poor wife an her kids getting a beating. CJ
Sorry to rain on your "party" guys, but that is just one foul... What about all the other far worse fouls that will be commited today?... If you feel so strongly on the subject, why not post a new thread and have a discussion? Or is it that this is yet another attempt to spoil a thread that you disapprove of - namely a sporting one? Gordon F
Domestic violence will increase by AT LEAST 40% today Hopefully Mrs Rooney will be responsible for a large chunk of that
stupra
Oh well, England lost, an it was a shit way to loose after they battled so hard after having Rooney red carded. The long an short of it is that they need to learn to play as a team, which unfortunatly is gonna be hard, as they dont get the time to practice, an the line up is never the same one game to the next. They are some of the best players in the world, but none of them can win games an tropheys by themselves. Its the teams that play as teams that'll win, no matter how good individuals are. chilli
You must have been watching a different game and tournament to me. probably... Was refering to the 10 men performance in particular. When it came to it they worked really hard and actually it could have gone either way for a lot of the game... since the odds were against us with just 10 men, I think the loss is all the more painful because we actually had a real chance of winning the game and getting though. Giggs is a legend, shame he couldn't play for england. Probably be a good long time before we see another good player from wales lol - As for scotland and our other neighbours of the British Isles cheering and hoping England will go out - jealously is a sad sad thing but next time you get to that position I'm sure we can return the sentiment and have a party when you loose too

Benitez and Pardew may disagree there. - As for scotland and our other neighbours of the British Isles cheering and hoping England will go out - jealously is a sad sad thing but next time you get to that position I'm sure we can return the sentiment and have a party when you loose too Well this time you must be reading a different thread to me as i have not seen any evidence of jealousy or gloating in this one. BTW, loose is ill fitting or slack. Lose is to be beaten.

SupraStar 3000
I've wasted enough time on this world cup so all i want to say is,... Rooney is a tw*t. NOT just for the red card,.. but where was his support for the other players after he was sent off? Didn't see David walk off. HE at least gave some encouragement to the other lads. very depressing

Surely that would be a far easier way of not allowing yourself to be worked up over something you dislike? Instead, you decide it is better to post something that has no relevance to the thread title or content in order to get a reaction. Unfortunately for you, due to the constant sniping at anything sporting, that reaction is now usually one of boredom at yet another attempt from you to start an argument. I recall another thread whereby you stated that you realised most of your your life was useless folly. If you are the type to allow yourself to get so worked up over a thread like this then I am now begining to agree with you.
