Im 24 no previous convictions , with 4 years ncb . After talks with Pete at Thor id probably be aiming for 500 + bhp . What prices do you guys pay to insure your singles ? Thanks Chris

Clarkey
Tbh - Chris .. I think you'll struggle to it under £1700. Jae told me this - that Sky tend to give lower premiums to people > 28. For those people wanting to upgrade to single Said it was the risk-factor. They'll insure you no problem - but it'll just cost you.

Clarkey
From an insurance point of view ... you might want to consider a Hybrids setup. You'll get abit more performance and you won't have to pay extra for a set of Hybrid Turbos on insurance.
chris aka fonz
Not to sure about hybrids , id like to hit around the 600 bhp mark someday so i think that if i had hybrids and id end up going single so may as well bite the bullet ! dont mind if i have to pay a bit for insurance . Oh for sure! Definately. Not trying to put you off ... just pointing out another option .. when you said Just looked and if im good should have 5 years ncb by the time i want to do it ! I kinda figured you needed your car sorting - and couldn't wait the other year
Need4Speed
Isn't the relevant piece of info what was your insurance cost before you went single as post codes and whether it's garaged make a huge difference.

Clarkey
and whether it's garaged make a huge difference. I thought so too. But Sky said to me - if it as Garaged up .. it still wouldn't have made a difference on my policy. I didn't get that. But my car is locked up every night anyway.
