Angarak Posted June 30, 2006 Share Posted June 30, 2006 Is it normal to hear a rattle from underneath the car when you change gear? It seems to be more noticeable when shifting into lower gears. I believe my car came with an uprated clutch but Im not sure if it has the OEM or aftermarket flywheel - I think its OEM as it doesnt rattle on tickover. Any ideas gratefully appreciated. Any tips for lottery tomorrow, oh Mystic Martin? Simon Apparently uprated clutches and/or lightened flywheels often make a rattle when the the clutch pedal is down. Mine does it too. I was told it's something to do with 'push' type clutches rather than the stock pull type ones (or was it the other way around?)
