vvteye
Anyone got a pair of wheel spacers kicking around. I've a set of alloys screaming to go on the car but they foul the large UK brakes. Boo-hoo!

vvteye
Wow, thanks mate. That could just about do it. I really don't know though as I am tightening the bolts against the brakes but it is close. I think you are intending to go to Lucifers a week Sunday... if so, is there any chance you could bring them with you and we could sort out a deal on the day if they do the business? vvteye
Sorry Lee, thanks for the offer but tonight I stacked 5 sets of 3 coins on the hub and tried the wheel. No go. I've bitten the bullet and ordered 15mm as I need at least 10 mm clearance. Thanks very much though for the offer of help... Appreciated

vvteye
You order a set from SRB? I rang and ordered some about 10min after you!! I called them yeah but I didn't order them on the web until tonite. needed to check size. Hope you didn't nick the last set as they only had 1 20mm left and weren't sure about the 15mm. I asked for the 20's if they haven't got 15's so the car should drive like Charlie Chaplin used to walk! Good to see we both ended up at the cheapest deal though. Demon Tweeks wanted another tenner on top, but then if you have got the last one I may have to pay it. Doh!

ChrisSZ
LOL. I hve some crappy 6mm universal spacers all round at the moment and needed to get some decent hubcentric jobbies. The main problem is that the hub of the wheels I have are thinner than the stock ones so the studs stick out about 5mm further than normal - hence the need for spacers. Should also make the rims fill the arches a little better :)
vvteye
Should also make the rims fill the arches a little better :) Fill the arches, If I'm alongside you you'll fill mine as well with 40mm! Come to think of it, I'll drive alongside you and we'll sell two of my wheels and split the profit:friends:
ChrisSZ
LOL 40mm = 20mm each side 20mm = 10mm each side! (not going for 40mm per side!!!)

Well my 15mm arrived this morning so if they didn't have these in stoock and you had the only 20mmm ones I would have a wait. Hopefully yours have come to so I'm off now to fit and hopefully I got my measurements right.. If not I'll get my grinder out and cut a slice of the callpers!!!!
