Headlight - Air Intake

Sharpie

Recommended Posts

Just got my headlight replacement sprayed, and it's looking good for the price it cost me.....£0 I get on well with the bodyshop manager :D

Here are some pic's from when I bought it from Mig and now that it's sprayed.

I thought if I put the part on a white sheet it would look better but, I'm not sure ?

It took 3 attempts to get it right, lots of air in or something ???

There was someone on here that was looking into possibly drilling through either in plastic but I ideally want glass as I have glass headlamps.

Pete, get it fitted and get some pics up......

Can we buy these anywhere ? How much ? And if you was to drive around in the day time with it in, could plod do you or can you get away with the day use only thing....?

I have UK glass headlights so, not really an option.

I know you can buy glass hedlights converted like this in Japan, it was in one of those, what I call Porn for Supras catologues, but you cant order through those over here, Paul E just had the catologue to drool over, maybe he didnt......lets ask, Paul........

Without wishing to throw a spanner in your ointment, if it's for dragging or track days why bother getting it sprayed up?

Attention to detail............... ;)

Cause it looks better...................;)

Cause the standard grey it is looks crap.......... ;)

Cause we care about the look of our car.............. ;)

Anymore.....:D

Naaahhhh, if you really cared about the look of your car, you'd never trackday it.

I see your point though, but I don't think anyone else at a trackday or drag strip would care what other peoples cars looked like.

When I go to track days or drag day I always look at cars I like, or look out for things that a different, after all you dont get that many enthusiasts in one place at the same time, so I think your backward :p on this one :D

No offence....

Actually, if I took my thinking to its logical conclusion, I'd just take the headlight out and leave it at that, so I suppose if you're going to go to the trouble of getting a replacement ducting piece, you might as well paint it up to match the car.

Well, that was a turnaround. Anybody else want some time wasting?
