Mike
Charlotte's little brother (well, he's 20 or something now) managed to get some hospitality tickets for the three of us for Saturday.. not sure who the hospitality is with? but hopefully someone nice who loves giving away free beer... So just the practise day unfortunately, but we've not been before so hopefully it will be a good day out... admittedly I'm not a 'huge' MotoGP fan, but well looking forward to it... I'm sure I will be after Saturday! Might see Mr Prawn around?

Bill Prawn
Saturday is probably better than race-day. Less crowds, bikes out for two hours, qualifying plus support races. And no five hour queue to get out.
psymon
I'll be there, my normal pilgrimage..... Can't wait :d :d
rik
Wish i was going It's the massive crowds and queues that put me off. But i'm sure the noise and atmos would make up for it! EDIT: £10 on Rossi to win despite broken wrist, and Edwards 3rd.
Charlotte
Actually the bro managed to get 6 tickets so I think my mum might put in an apearance also. I'm sure all of his ultra cool friends will be hanging out at some rock party somewhere.

I know who Your there with Tim..... hehe.... Good luck to both of them

Mike
we did... but we got a bit lost when we got inside.. we were at the Craner suits? but the hospitality box wasn't open... great hospitality eh?! We were going to come and find you but without a map of the site we had no clue where you would be... all day Charlotte was saying 'there's the Suzuki stand he might be in there'... and it was the place selling T-shirts?! and it was so hot we weren't really up for a run round the site.... we all got burned dispite factor 20 spray stuff.... Sorry dude... we'll organise it better next time..
Bill Prawn
Did you enjoy it though? Were the bikes what you expected?
Mike
yeah, it was excellent... I think it would have been better to have been there for the race really, practice/qualifying is good, but just build up really.. The bikes were amazing though.. the sound of those Ducati's was unreal! god knows how they do what they do at that speed... mental.. and we watched the race on the TV on Sunday, which was ace... so much more interesting than F1.. the rear wheel slide Rossi does to change the racing line on the corners is always a joy to watch... Yep, I'll definitely be watching from now on... think we'll come for the weekend next year... Did you have a good day? did you have A/C where you were?! Bill Prawn
I'm glad you enjoyed it. Yeah I have an a/c office but rarely in there. Donington is our busiest race and it was non stop all weekend.
