BOV on an Auto

Mine dumps on auto gearchange, the Traction controll system closes the throttle slightly on gearchange to protect the tranny. thus creating back pressure in the system = "Dumpidge" Its a very short one though!

After a while of getting used to it, you can learn to let your foot off the pedal at the exact time of gearchange and then back on before you loose any useable power! This creates more back preasure and gives you a better and longer sound.

Waiting to be corrected on the TC system (Could be ECU retarding)

Damn, another reason to switch to a manaul then. Still, would take me more than the nice sneezing noise to get me to hand in my Aero Roof.

My SSQV dumps a lot

It makes plenty of sound and I have gone back to a stock air box with a race panel filter.

It makes much more noise in manual mode because you are supposed to lift off momentarily between stick shifts.

It is quite easy to make it sing with your right foot too.

Phil you got one. I'm shocked????

Didn't think it was your thing?

Did you get a KN filter too? Mines due replacing and I'm wondering which one. Don't want a big sucky thing that brings in half of East Anglia's agricultural deposits into my intake/engine. But don't want exces oil cooking me mesh thingy either.

I need to pop round for a demo me thinks :)

HKS SSQV + Apexi induction = cool

Mine makes a nice dump, either when I floor it and it changes gear itself, or I do it manually, or whenever you release your foot off the throttle while the turbos are spinning.

Although not as loud as a manual, it's still far from quiet, especially mixed with the induction kit, mine's a regular sneezing snarling monster these days :)
