Guest Jamin
Hi, I've got an N/A hardtop Auto, Ive just worked out from my record of MPG over 5 full tanks of otimax i got and average of 45 miles for £10. so far my average mpg is 15. Thats a combination of motorway & city driving. best has been 18.8mpg worst has been 13.3mpg hope that helps :-) oh one more figure is an average of 192 miles per tank, costing about £43.80 (56 litres ..ish)
toyotasuprauk
I'm still working out the figures on mine to get a good idea but to divide it down to £10 at a time I'd say about 70ish miles. But mines a manual which seem to be better on fuel and I drive very slowly almost all the time. Also for some reason I find Optimax to be less economical, weird? On my Celica manual I would get about 90ish miles to £
Suprash
I would even wager that our NA is drinking slightly more fuel than our TT at the moment, both decat.....
Digsy
23 / 24mpg from mine. NA aerotop automatic.
Whitesupraboy2
from £15 i get 95 miles. so you can work it out from that aint got clue what mpg that is but it not motorway driving just drivinground town etc... Im a manual and am now running on unleaded and not optimax. I spoke to toyota and was told the ECU would have no problems changing timing as it was non turbo. Only bad thing is a bit less power
Trig
Never put less than a score in mine but i worked it out to about 65 miles for a tenner. Did this the other day - bear in mind that i have a Blitz air filter and an Apexi exhaust tho.
Digsy
I've always put 95RON in mine. No probs at all.
AndyG
N/A manual: Worst 15mpg Best 25mpg Usual around town/longer trips - 19mpg
toyotasuprauk
Can anyone tell me if having a decat or an uprated exhaust improves MPG on a NA?
GlennMR2
it seems that your mpg aint much differant then mine mr2 then thats good news
blackmax
I've just worked out i'm doing about 21.5 MPG which is about 60 miles to a tenner.. I do a good mixture of driving town/urban/dual carriageway and don't really drive "too" hard. I noticed this morning in the snow, the fuel needle barely moved on the Jouney to work... so maybe I better slow down. Or take my wifes new 45MPG clio to work..... then again....!! Shame theres not more atractive girls working at petrol stations though.
Newgendesign
My 96 11,500 miles stock MkIV manual does around 120miles to 20 quid. I havent worked out consumption (miles per gallon yet) but this does seem quite the norm from reading these posts. My car is stock as stock-can-be apart from uprated factory installed bodykit etc. so this is is a good guage of what to expect. I expect new filter and exhaust will free up a few more miles...
