merckx
You don't need to use caliper paint. Spray cans from Plasti Kote are good , smooth or hammered finish from B & Q or Halfords. The Plasti Kote red is nicer than the stuff made by Hammerite.

heckler
hammerite!!!!!!!!!!! dont get sucked into the special caliper paint bollox.. if you unsure if it looks ok check my garage or as the other guys.. Yup - i second that - hammerite - only £5 a tin, and enough to do all 4 calipers twice!
black cat
high temp paint on the disk bell mind, hammeright works but looks shabby after a year or so if you have a heavy right foot. if you dive like a pussy like me though it should be fine. Mr T
I've always used the Hummel enamel modeling paints. 2 small pots will do 3 coats on all 4 calipers, and at £1.10 a pot, that is cheap as chips:) My first Supra a had for 3.5 years and it still looked like new when I sold her. The secret is in the preparation as usual. Wash, fine wet&dry sandpaper, clean off with methylated spirits. allow to dry between coats. After, apply Supra decals. (from Gordon F on the board) and you got new brakes. Also you have a very large choice of colour's. So check out your local model shop. PS here is a couple of pics of mine in metallic blue. Also black Hammerite smooth is ideal for those rusty wheel hubs (same prep' as above)
