Grazer
Just got this email from Crail: Happy new year to you all and welcome to what's going to be our biggest and most entertaining season yet. What a start to the year. Not only Fast Car, but BBC as well! The production company Lion TV, who will be producing a film for BBC's Ex S series, want to film you and your vehicles at Crail Raceway on Sunday 8th & 22nd of February. If you fancy the limelight and you're up for it get in touch with Stephen Bennet - contact details and further information to follow below. Another email news letter will go out as usual the Wednesday prior to the FAST CAR event with details and more news on what to expect in 2004. Confirmed dates are up on the web site so feel free to browse through what's on in 2004. Make sure that you're on the telly on 8th February @ Crail Raceway! Lion Television Scotland is making a 30-minute documentary for BBC Scotland under the Ex S strand about Crail Thrash. This will be transmitted on March 23rd on BBC1. We are looking for two or more strong characters, one female and one male driver who have their own cars and who are coming to Crail on the 8th and 22nd February. They should be travelling with some friends, but not a full car since we will be filming in the car. Age is not a problem. Ideally both characters come from different parts of Scotland. We are looking for people who are comfortable talking in front of the cameras and who are not shy, and who agree to being filmed before, during and after Crail. We may want to film such characters at work before the event days. Think Grease meets West Side Story meets Easy Rider in Crail and you get the idea of what we are hoping for. The film is meant to be fun. We will be filming Show and Shines, Drag Racing and other scheduled events. We would like to hear from potential characters, along with a photo of them and their cars. This can be emailed to me at the address below. We want to know why they go to cruises, how long they have been doing this, what made them start, their biggest ambition, and what they do work wise. Also why they would like to take part. Please send emails to: [email protected] DEADLINE for EMAILS is 10am 28TH Jan. filming will begin shortly afterwards. See ya Sunday.
