Marty
have you fueling ...ecu .. bov ...with a 61 or 67 you need more bits to do it right.. At the moment all i have is the manifold, screamer pipe, and intake pipe, all the rest i havent bought yet. Im basically going to buy the turbo wastegate etc and run it off the standard ecu and injectors (550s), maybe upgrade ecu, and then upgrade everything as i go along. BURT
i have to agree with mikey.. ok so you have a budget and as long as you sprnd the money in the right places you should be ok.... the fuelling in this project is just as important as picking the right turbo as one will restrict the other from performing efficiently.. do try and but quality parts for the build as, buying from ebay is one option but i'm not sure that you will find the best quality there, and quality used parts are not that often sold second hand purley because they are quality parts, Always try to remember "quality.. not quantity" godd luck with the searching fella

Thanks for the advice guys, dont get me wrong, ive a few k to spend, im not going to skrimp i'll be getting a decent wastegate, turbo and cooler if i can, aswel as ecu and squirters! Yes michel its the ebay manifold and downpipe i have, heard these arent too bad ? thanks for letting me know about turbo problems which ones should i avoid? michel lane
you can use most pte/sp/bl types but you may have to get a new dp/mp made . if you buy the ebay turbo with the kit , this will fit well. but you will have lag until 4000rpm and only get around 450-550hp...,best keeping the stockers for that .
