imi
Anyone with steering wheels smaller than the standard 350mm, can you please post pics and your comments. I am in two minds about what size to get, either 350 or 320. Rally fancy a smaller wheel, however been reading Mattana's post so in two minds... many thx
SuperSupra
I've got a very small wheel right now but I'm changing for a Momo Millenium 320mm so it'll still be smaller than standard. I like having a smaller wheel, 350mm is just too big imo. I don't really like the wheel that's on there right now, so thought I'd change. See my garage for pics of my current one mate. imi
agree...u need to change your wheel btw, if you go 320mm, will it cover the dash dials?
SuperSupra
agree...u need to change your wheel btw, if you go 320mm, will it cover the dash dials? A little no doubt, but as you can imagine I've been used to that! Doesn't massively bother me anyway, as long as it looks good and I don't have to move too much to see what I need to see on the dash I'm happy. Shouldn't think it'll obstruct things too much. When I get mine in a few days I'll post a pic or two up so you can make up your mind if you want mate?

SuperSupra
mattana is adimant that 350mm is the way forward...I am in two minds. being an extremely impatient person, I am afriad I am going to make a rash decision today lol, like me I don't really care if it's not right to be honest anyway, I can always change it! I say do what you initially wanted, that's usually the best way, irrespective of what anyone has told you.
mattanna
I did what i originally wanted and bought the 320mm, it was just when i hated it i had to sell it for a loss.It is normal that when you fit a smaller wheel the steering will become heavier, and for me it spoiled the feel of the car, just giving the benefit of my experience, the whole steering wheel business aged me 20 years
letmeshowyou
My steering wheel is v. small (not sure if you remember Imi?) - it does obscure the speedo a little, but its really not a problem Have a sit in mine if youre coming to pod tomorrow? imi
Adi - 300 mm...wooh. can you do me a favour and post some pics of it as I wont be at POD tomorrow. is it harder to drive the car with a smaller wheel?
letmeshowyou
Just had a measure and its 320mm, personally I prefer it that way - Mich had a drive and said she thought the steering felt a little stiffer but its really nothing to worry about. Pics to follow in a mo...

imi
that looks alright, dont think its covering the dials that much. thx...im thiking 320mm...lets be honest the 350mm is really big and looks really dated.
letmeshowyou
bear in mind it wasnt really eye level, it covers the speedo so you dont see 70mph too easily, but the rev counter is fully visible. Bear in mind though - I have an odd speedo so may be easier to see on yours. I'd find 350 a little too annoying I think!
