It's a vacuum in the manifold that sucks the valve open, so in theory it will hold an indefinite boost pressure. Erm, I said most have a certain limit...not all, HKS are the only ones that do this (Forgot to mention), as its a pull type valve, the boost pressure keeps the valve closed against its seat where as all the others are push type, which is why blitz etc are more prone to leaking when running high boost.
