merckx Posted June 23, 2006 Share Posted June 23, 2006 I hope the union nut on the inlet isn't competely stuck like mine was. It appears that it was overtightened in the factory and bottomed out in the female thread on the filter. This made the end open up in the wider unthreaded section at the bottom, it was impossible to unscrew. Matt Harwood said it's happened to him a few times aswell.
