Matty boy i said increase boost , coming home i turned it up to set 70 and can only hit a max of 1.37 settling at 1.32 , this setting would normally give me 1.47 - 1.5 , just thinking if the 'boost pipe. is crushed a bit the controller cant accuratley tell what boost its trying to increase!!!!

A leak somewhere maybe dude?

 

That squashed pipe should have no effect.

 

Depending on which one it was, I think if it was totally blocked off you could end up with huge boost as no signal to actuator spring. Not familiar with the SBC so I could be wrong.

Well dudes the hose did seem to be squashed where it goes thru the bulkhead , its now rerouted and i managed to hit 1.61 bar at 80 set :) :thumbs: , so it looks like it needs that hose to be free and clear to get a reading so it knows what to send the solenoid!!!. At least the car is now performing again and i turned back into a fuel injected suicide machine laying down a rubber road straight to freedom !!!!! or at least i was till the missus phoned and said i had to go home cause my dinner was ready !!!:cool:
