TLicense
I'm gutted to hear this. Reading this through this thread has made me realise that this community is almost like an extended family. I never met Karl, but I am actually really gutted by this. My deepest condolences to his family and to all his friends. Steve, you've done a fantastic job. smithaldo
Just wanted to add my condolences. As like many people on here I haven't met or never spoken with Karl but he seemed like such a friendly, genuine lad. Whilst I was reading the pages of condolence on here I looked outside my window and this was what I saw Such a beautiful sunset. This is how I will remember this moment. RIP Karl

GeordieSteve
All your messages will be getting to Karls family, as they did when he was in hospital. Thank you all for your continued support
Jive
I'm another one who's been reading this thread hoping he'd pull through and was deeply saddened to read that Karl passed away. Please pass on my condolences to his family and friends.

SteveR
I've got so far as page 24 and I've had to stop reading the posts everyone has made as it's just too moving RIP Karl, I only ever saw that very first post you made on here but even from that little glimpse into your character it was obvious that you were a quality, genuine chap with a real passion and I have no doubt that you're someone I would have liked to have met - hopefully we still will, some day. Kate and I are exceptionally sorry to have heard this news, may you rest in peace and be smiling down on your family, our thoughts are with you all right now. I whole-heartedly back the club doing something (charity donation or whatever the family feel is best - anything) to recognise this very sorry occasion, just let us know what it is and we'll contribute. Steve & Kate.
vvteye
Oh Karl, you fought so hard you made us all proud. If I feel so bad and I never met you, I can only imagine what your friends and family feel. Can somebody please set up a paypal address for us to donate into... I won't be able to get to the funeral. So very tragic, RIP Karl. Tourniquet
A very moving thread guys. Our thoughts are with the family and friends of course and Geordie, you're one heck of a guy. If only the world had more of you it would be a much better place. Rest In Peace Karl you're in a better place now. GeordieSteve
Can somebody please set up a paypal address for us to donate into... I won't be able to get to the funeral. I will be soon, however from what I've read it'll be hard to move for flowers at the funeral! Maybe it'll be best to speak to his parents and maybe donate it to the hospital or whatever charity they prefer? The undertakers were at the house today so arrangments have been made
loks
GeordieSteve, let us know what arrangements are being made as i really would like donate to a charity, memorial fund or something similar. This is from the site mentioned by Green Peace earlier and seems to have been missed here. Really wish I was in the UK for this - I'm sure some of our North-East contingent could represent the mkivsupra.net owners club on this cruise, as a mark of respect for Karl's life. http://www.cruise4fun.co.uk/summadfin2.jpg I would if I could. The undertakers were at the house today so arrangments have been made That sounds like the best thing to do. I think it might be a good idea to start another thread ref how to donate etc. this way it will not be missed as so many are adding to this thread, this way people can still leave messages on this one
