Lewis
Wouldn't worry about it, you have said what you are in court for and nothing else. You haven't said it was you driving (which of course it wasn't)

Andy-No-Knee
I tried the same thing, filled in the NIP but didnt put a name or sign it. My defence was under the European Human Rights Act if some thing is going to be used in evidence against you you have to be advised of the fact BEFORE you fill it in. Which at the time NIP's were not saying .(I dont know that if they do now). So when I went in to defend myself, I was a little shocked when I was told that there were 2 summones out against me, one for not filling in the NIP, and the other for doing 122mph on the A11. Bit of a shock, so I went off with the court soliciter and had a chat, and beat them down to a 'not gulity' on the speeding (YYYEEESSSSS!!!) but guilty on the NIP. 3 points and a £60 fine and £60 costs later... I'm smilin!
lambertpig
not guilty ha ha ha wot a result told the court that i was not the driver at the time because somebody came and tested it with veiw to buy.sale fell through so did not have details of the driver. but i did show "reasonable diligence" in identifying driver as i veiwed his insurance and licence just couldnt be expected to remember them as he was not freind or family this is the second time this has worked dont think it would again
