AndyT
ejector seat button maybe? Gawd no. That's red and in front of the gear lever. Don't you know anything?
mawby
A few months on, but I've just realised where the artist got that button from. Looking at the attached image (taken from here) you can clearly see the car in question does have the door lock button on the passenger side. I'm wondering if the car pictured was a prototype conversion from RHD to LHD as the speedo looks very much like a J-Spec one with an MPH sticker over the KPH label! And the car doesn't have the heated seats button which I think was present on all UK/US specs... maybe?
Wyntersun
Im sure the US spec has a door lock button on their passenger side, I know the US spec Celica's do.
mawby
Im sure the US spec has a door lock button on their passenger side, I know the US spec Celica's do.Surely they can't be that lazy that they can't move their arm just a little bit further and use the normal lock! Wyntersun
you can see the passenger door lock switch on the US celica. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/1998-TOYOTA-CELICA-GT-CONVERTIBLE-Rare-5-SPEED-/280535635132?cmd=ViewItem&pt=US_Cars_Trucks&hash=item41513a14bc#v4-
mawby
From an ejector seat button, to a possible prototype car, and ending up with it being just a door lock button.
