Is it me or does that sounds slightly perverse?

You should have seen the version I wrote before the edit, it made me cringe.

Used to love pork pies when i ate meat. Very nice. Oh and also Scotch eggs, sausage rolls, corned beef, frankfurters and any vaguely cheap meat, no idea why.

Burn the veggie witch!!!!!! get out of my thread you weirdo!!!!!!

;)

I'm with you there pal. I never use the word vegetarian, Freak is a better word to use.

I eat fish so I'm not strictly a whole vegetarian in the true sense of the word.

But there's nowt wrong with being one. :p

Love me pork pies. I think the standard of your supermarket pies has gone down in recent years, you can't beat a good one from a local butchers.

I don't like the pastry too dry and crunchy though, and there has to be a little jelly but not a lot of it. I might have to venture all the way down to the market at lunch to get one.

What's the point of being a vegetarian that still eats fish then? Bit Lifestyle Jamie Oliver isn't it? "Ohhh, darling, didn't you know? I'm vegetarian this week, it's soooo 'in'!" :nyah:

Pork pies. Mmmm. Those mini ones in the tube are dangerous. Bite size.

Err no, i eat fish because i like it, and i don't particularly like meat anymore.

I've been veggie/fish eating for 3 years so i don't see it as following a particular trend. I have tried to not eat fish but i miss it too much.

At last, we have the technical meisters opinion on things

maybe if we are extra nice to him he can give us dyno plots of the jellified ones (we shall call these journal) versus non jellified (DBB)

:D:D:D:D

Might be difficult, we'd need to make sure they were exactly the same size otherwise the different rolling radius might throw the figures off.

yes, that is true, proper calibration will of course be essential.

i was thinking of spool to power ratio of jelly and non jelly type pork pies, does the whole egg within truly affect top end power delivery, or does it prevent the pork pie from being non-interference?

i shall be awaiting Ian C's excellent technical write up with barely contained enthusiasm :)

the jelly has to be quicker due to the added lubrication. with 2 smaller ones you can always save one for later, one big one just seems like a waste to me, having said that if your hungrey i supose it would give you a big rush.

Although the jelly may cause the meaty interior to turn slightly more than the exterior due to inertia once the pie has come to a stop. I don't know whether this would have an effect on overall performance. I suspect there will be a fine balance somewhere.

If you eat fish you aren't a vegetarian. At all. Not even a little bit. Fact.
