UK vs J-Spec - Manifold / Head

Am I right in thinking that the stud pattern on the UK manifold is different to the UK one?

Secondly is there any reason why I couldn't put a J-Spec head onto a UK block? Obviously I'd swap things like cams over but would I be losing / gaining anything else that I need to consider?

No :) they are identical :p ...but the j-spec is different to the UK, but not at the block end, just the turbo end.

Don't think this will cause any issue's.

That's good news then :)

I knew the other end was an 'issue' but I can deal with that, for some reason I thought the stud pattern on the manifold was slightly different as well.

That makes life easier as well then :)

No serious issues to report :)

I have the valve stem seals to do and the turbo kit I'm fitting is from a J-Spec - I'm just thinking of getting a built head and was wondering if it mattered if it was from a UK or a J to start with.

Just doing some basic homework before parting with any money :)
