Todd
Bought this a couple of weeks back as the satnav on my phone got knackered when we were in the middle of our hols (beware of RAF bases!) It's only been used a few times whilst we were on holiday, comes boxed as new with all the cables, books and so on. Cost £199, open to offers. http://www.orbitica.com/images/c310suretrier.jpg Full Spec here http://www.halfords.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/ProductDisplay?catalogId=10151&storeId=10001&partNumber=272377&langId=-1#

Todd
why beware of RAF bases ???? Where we were staying was beside an RAF base, first night there sitting using the phone and wham, thing froze up and 75% of the programs and files just were gone, not just from the phone but also the SD card as well:blink: Popped into york the next day and got the satnav unit and used it all day with no issue, returning back to the digs and about a mile from the RAF base it froze solid and we had to reset it, this happened for the next 2 days but only when we approached the base. It's X-Files weird:eyebrows:
Andy-No-Knee
Radar. Same thing when you try to arm the car alarm with the fob and it wont do it unless your right by the front wheel.

michael
My good lady has this very model - I'm very impressed with it, absolute doddle to use and loaded with useful features like finding your nearest KFC or petrol station I'm a TomTom user myself and while I prefer the mapping style that offers I think the interface and simplicity of the Garmin give it the edge, you can also import the speed camera databases which makes it even more useful

Todd
Comes with a USB cable, plug it into PC and downloads updates automatically. I have not registered it at any point and it still downloaded the updates for me.
