Vaughany
I am looking to get my Soop lowered. My question is what springs are best, I was thinking about Eibach. My car is on 19" alloys and has a Nurspec R Exhaust that sits quite low so I am abit worried about speed humps etc. I think the Eiback springs lower the Soop by about 30mm. Should this be okay, what is everyone else running with the same setup. Cheers
Guest whele
When I first purchased my Supra I had the Eiback springs fitted and it dropped the car less than 10mm. However, I recently fitted Ohlins which, with the ride height adjustment set to the default position, dropped the car 25mm. I do find it a problem with the skirts and nose hitting speed ramps, but provoded you are careful they seem OK. The bigger problem for me is keeping the nose clear of curbs (especially when parking) or steep ramps (such as multistory car parks).
BigRoy
Eibach's drop it 1 " at the back and 1.5 at the front.
randy
Eibach Springs definately work well! The car really handles a lot better and is much more planted.
SMW
My car is lowered on eibach springs and I have the nur spec exhaust. Caution is definitely required with speed humps. Had a look at the underside of the car at Leon's a while back and a small dent and a fair few scrape marks on the middle section:(
