When I got my Nana's dog Tar a lovely German sheperd it was my best friend and when it attacked one of my 2 yorkies i had to get it put down and i cried more for that dog than i did when my Nana passed away. Fifty Posted June 19, 2006 Author Share Posted June 19, 2006 wasnt to be Berrywood Henry Higgins AKA Rfiki left to be with God at noon today aged 11 years 6 months Gutted. was a large tumour in his stomach, running a fever of 106 - had no choice but to say goodbye old friend. I was hoping to log on tonight and find better news, I know exactly how you feel as we lost our Collie Sam a couple of months back and it still hurts bad and I was hoping so much that you wouldn't have to go through this yet. We had to have the eldest of our 2 dogs (both now past on) put down a few years ago. Called the vet out to the house to do it, and i couldnt watch. Hid in the bathroom crying my eyes out.
