I took my dash panels off yesterday to fit a new CD player.

Because the ISO adaptor wasn't correct I couldn't fit everything back, so ran about with them all off and guess what started flashing on and off!

So I'm guessing it's to do with one of the connections being broken. When I put them back on I'll do it a panel at a time until it stops(hopefully!) and let you know which connector it is. :eyebrows:

yours is to do with the dash being unplugged and turning the ignition on mate. haven't read the whole thread thoroughly so can't comment on the rest.

From memory to get the O/d light to stop flashing the quick way, remove the main ecu solonoid/fuse from the engine bay fusebox. I think its the 2nd up onthe right. This will rset the main ecu. So you 'll have to go out and run the car for its ecu t0 re-learn

The other thing to check is the trac fuse. its a 7.5 amp 4th up on the right

hi mate i had the same probs and took mine to rip off kings (toyota maindealer) but they may have chagered me a mint but they found it it was a little sealed box behind the dash . the part should cost about £40+ vat and if u let toyota do it they will charge £116+vat to fit it so if u know how to take ur dash apart i would do it my self
