Nick
I've been looking into having my rear wheels refurbed and it's been a real PITA. Went to FAT wheels and they can refurb 3 peice wheels no problem, but can't polish the outer lip to the original mirror finish. They put me onto a company in Erith so I went there but they can't do it either. They in turn put me onto Spit and Polish in Tonbridge but they won't touch 3 peice wheels!! If I have them taken apart and refurbed by Fat wheels who would be able to polish the lip for me? I'm not impressed at all, the metal is quite soft and very easy to scratch which doesn't help as they're a sod to keep clean. Gaz, Dude....? Before any suggests it there's absolutely no way I'm having any part of them chromed!!
Nick_TC
If you had the outer edge chromed, you wouldnt have the problem of keeping it clean like a polished surface. If its only the outer edge, do it yourself, it not rocket science and you could get all the gear for under a 100 notes.

I will check to see if the polisher wants to do it You couldn't anyway, dont think anywhere will offer this service on a lip because of the size. Gaz. MONKEYmark
my grandad used to do his mirror polishing with scrunched up newspapers and add a bit of vinigar to warm water. it seems to work because his mirrors were always nice and polished.
