Jspec Germany
Nobody's said it yet... so I'll put my two cents in: Cannonball Run I, II, ? I haven't seen the film yet, but I know it will disappoint having been on the drifting scene in Japan. But hey, if there's hot scantily clad women... I'll enjoy it. wkdtime
Cummon guys, if you're really into cars you'll pick faults every couple of seconds and cringe most of the way through it... surely? I've not actually seen Tokyo drift yet, but the first once cracked me up on the drag scene when the bolts fell out in the passenger foot well. Yup, that happens IRL so often Oh yeah, 17 gear changes to reach 80 mph hmmm. Not to mention the hundred other stupid unrealistic moments. Its not what I call an enthusiast’s movie Now, Bullet... there’s a proper movie car chase.... If the races actually lasted sub 10 seconds and 4 gear changes then it would really be pants and we would have not seen much of the supra! I watched it for the cars and just the cars. Nick
Forgot all about gone in 60 seconds too, gonna have to go rent it tonight... great film. Not the original, has one of the best car chases ever with no special effects. Puts the remake to shame, although the 70's style acting is hilarious
Nick
Nobody's said it yet... so I'll put my two cents in: Cannonball Run I, II, ? I replayed the start of One with the black Countach over, and over, and over and over as a kid.
Tourniquet
Gotta say I really did love the first F+F as a film as well as a movie that happened to be about something I'm into but was dissapointed a tad with the second although could still hapily sit through it any time. Glad to hear the good reviews from you all on Tokyo Drift coz when I heard about it I thought it would just be a pony car film using the title to put bums on seats from people who liked the other two - this said I was planning on seeing it anyway ! I love Nic Cage's 60 Seconds to so hopefully I'll enjoy this and bite my lip over the lack of Supra's.

garethr
Half way through I realised who Shaun was - anyone remember American Gothic and the little lad Caleb? My daughter will be booking her tickets then, she loved Caleb / Lucas Black. Strangely, my memories of American Gothic have more to do with the schoolteacher...... Rob
I haven't seen it but I was having a pizza in-car last night in a big retail park with cinema and there were several little twats in Pug 106s and Seat Ibizas "drifting" round the car park with McDonalds trays under the rear wheels. Hilarious fun as the little 1 litres bounced off the rev limiter.
