edd_t
My mates thinking of buying this: http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Year-2000-Mazda-RX-7-Type-RS-RX7_W0QQitemZ4650306797QQcategoryZ18211QQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem I think its a tad overpriced? What do you lot think? edit: although I have just seen the year (2000) so maybe not... your thoughts still appreciated though....

AndrewOW
Looks fab to me, but those rotary engines do drink like a fish. Expensive servicing probably too. If he wants it and can easily afford the upkeep, then can't go far wrong. Can't imagine why he wouldn't want a Supra instead though!
edd_t
cheers at the moment he has an MR2 turbo, so would have thought he would step up to a supra. but he really likes the rx7 and his dad has an rx8. hes lucky enought to still live at home, so im sure he can afford it. SupraAyf
M8, If your pal has that type of money to spend then what the heck is he looking at an RX-7 for. You're in the Supe club, so you need to convince him that a Supe is the only way forward. He could buy a belter for £16K with trillions of BHP and still have change left for a McDonalds Special Edition World Cup Burger. Regards Buddy, Andrew:blink:  My mates thinking of buying this:
AndrewOW
I've noticed that Andrew seems a common name in the club. Must be summit in it! Good taste of course!
IDO
My mate has the same car, year and model etc.. (99% sure its the same) fantastic motor..... but when he got it to 45000 miles he needed a rebuild due to the rotory motor decided it had enough (and this was a well looked after and not thrashed!.... expensive! great cars but be careful they can drink alot more money than the supe' on just little things like oil!
