how some people get private plates newer than what their original car reg is, onto their cars?

 

i hope you dont mind me mentioning - mr lover's n/a for example was a 1993 which would make it a K or early L, but his plate was RIL ****

 

how is this possible? ive seen it on many a cars and id like to know.

how u mean? my names maz so can i get a non prefix plate saying maz 1234 or something of that nature? where my cars an L reg? can someone explain

going to look into that now, i wasnt aware that i could have these 'non prefix' plates.

ive found some nice maz ones cheapest being just over 500, but i take it after vat and registration it would be 700 ish, still good price though hopefully gonna get me one of these soon
