Clarkey
Hi, Got my renewal from Sky today. £1050. That includes - all mods declared. Full UK & Europe Breakdown cover, 7yrs no claims protected. Agreed Value. 90 day Europe driving. 30yrs old. 10yrs license held. No points. No convictions. I'm fairly happy about that. As to be honest I couldn't get any other decent deals elsewhere ... like the agreed Value, the 90 day Europe etc. How does my premium compare with the rest of you single boys ? I realise that some of it comes down to Post Code.
Ulrik
Hmm in sweden you can only insure a "stock" car.. Is not allowed to have any modification under the hood. They dont insure that.... But they dont have to know that, now do they ? Hehe I pay about £132 / month for mine, on myself..

Jake
Got my renewal from Sky today. £1050. That includes - all mods declared. Full UK & Europe Breakdown cover, 7yrs no claims protected. Agreed Value. 90 day Europe driving. 30yrs old. 10yrs license held. No points. No convictions. Hmmm, £1050, exactly the same as mine. All mods declared (PHR single turbo kit, 800cc injectors, WI, RLTC, Motec, fmic, big brakes) Full NCB, not protected. 41 years old, 20 years license held (off and on ), no convictions. How did you get on with the Agreed Valuation? They told me they only do agreed valuation up to £15k but I'm sure other folks have said they got more than that agreed. (SimonB? Ashley Willis?) Muffleman
I'm with A-Plan, £680 all in. Just had an arguement with them about cancelling my insurance because they hadn't received my signed proposal form (which they had). Pee'd me off, but all sorted now. Declared ALL mods, in fact printed the spec. sheet from Trial and sent them that, so they are aware of the power too. 5,000 miles only and insured as a third car Jae at Sky was about the same, but his policy required a Tracker. Might put one on anyway, but still undecided.

I declared all mine - just as you have yours Jake. DBA brakes, Emanage, RLTC, T61 etc etc... The agreed valuation I was told to put all mods in on the form - put a figure on it .. and then send away for approval. No - max figure was mentioned. Obviously, a £20k figure would be abit silly on my setup. But I was told by Sky that - as long as the figure is sensible and fits with your setup .. then it shouldn't be a problem. The critieria I was going to use for the valuation - was to think .. of how much £££ I'd have to spend to buy a single T61 Supra with similar mods ... Alex's car went for £13.5 - I think. So, I was going to peruse the For Sale section .. to get an idea.

Mine is the same policy as yours but without european cover - £870 On a side note, any news on that phone and do you have any opinions on the N80? - MSN if you want. As far as power is concerned - I told Sky the truth. Absolutely no idea!! As I hadn't had the car dyno-ed. So, they have put the car under the 450 - 475 bracket. John, The N80 is cracking bit of kit. I use it when testing WCDMA (3G). It's practically a multi-media phone. Has WiFi, Symbian OS, 3 meg camera (if memory serves) - the usual things, MP3s, MP4, MPEG-1 & MPEG 2. And you install an app to play DivX or Xvid AVI files. It has a camera flash - but I wouldn't bother with it. It's an just a white LED. Nokia, couldn't justify the cost of fitting a decent bulb to every phone .. and they were worried about reliability of the bulbs popping. LED's are more durable. The only thing I don't like about it is ... the keypad slide thing. Quite fiddly. But I guess it's what you're used to. With regard to the phone itself - I've got to ask anyway - as someone else wants one.

Clarkey
Christian - one thing I forgot to ask, do you know if you can run MSN messenger (or compatable) on the phone thru wifi and is the prog free? Not the Microsoft version of MSN - but there are Symbian Apps that you can install and log into MSN. Infact I've got shed loads of Symbian apps, themes, ringtons, mp3's etc etc etc (About 300 megs) on my laptop. If you want SW .. let me know.
