Help on breaking a car

Recommended Posts

My brother had a serious accident with his MG ZR (2002) and it has been declared a writeoff.

The insurance wont pay up, so we are trying to figure out a way to make the most of what we got.

Whats the best way to shift the car? Scrapyards? Parts? What should I do???

Any help/contacts is really appreciated.

Regards,

Dan

Off topic but why won't they pay up? Which company is it?

Depending on where you are a breaker could help you in terms of buying the wreck? Speak to Jezzybabes for some advice on that

ZR forums would be the best bet for selling stripped parts, think Tbourner on here used to be on one.

Thanks for this bud.

To cut a long story short, its a left hand drive car and his insurance is from Portugal, he though his policy was european-wide fully comp, however, it was only so domestically in Portugal, as soon as he left the country it became third party only!

His fault for not checking, really...
